Lenovo to Discontinue its Legion Series Gaming Smartphones. Lenovo takes a step back from the Gaming smartphone Competition with other Brands. Lenovo states that rather than manufacturing Gaming Smartphones and making it difficult for the people to choose between so many option we decided to mainly focus on a larger Gaming Community i.e, Laptop and Computer Gaming , this will also make it easier for other brands as there will be one less competition.
Brands like Asus, Nubia, and BlackShark are some of the primary contenders in the dedicated gaming smartphone segment. With Lenovo getting out of the gaming phone business, these brands will have one less competition and users will have one less option to check out.
Lenovo is discontinuing its Android-based Legion mobile gaming phones as part of a wider business transformation and gaming portfolio consolidation. As a leader in gaming devices and solutions, Lenovo is committed to advancing the gaming category across form factors, as well as focusing on where it can bring the most value to the global gaming community.
The Lenovo Legion like the other gaming smartphones offered devices with a flagship processor, a higher refresh rate display, and a trendy design.
The Lenovo Legion Y70 was the latest smartphone from the brand, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with a 144Hz refresh rate display and this seems to be the latest gaming phone from the brand. However, the availability of the smartphone was limited to select markets, and these devices were never made to countries like India.
